Product Description
RUNYE CPE 135A for wire and cable applications is a specialty chlorinated polyethylene grade designed to provide flame retardancy, oil resistance, and excellent electrical insulation properties in PVC cable jacketing and insulation compounds. This premium grade leverages the inherent chlorine content of CPE 135A to contribute to the overall flame retardancy of cable compounds, reducing the loading requirements for antimony trioxide and other flame retardant synergists while maintaining the flexibility and mechanical toughness essential for cable applications. The unique molecular structure of CPE 135A, containing both polar chlorine-substituted segments and non-polar hydrocarbon segments, provides a valuable balance of properties: oil and chemical resistance from the polar character, combined with the low-temperature flexibility and electrical insulation characteristics of the polyethylene backbone. In PVC cable jacketing formulations at typical loadings of 10-25 phr, CPE 135A forms an interpenetrating elastomeric network that dramatically improves flexibility, abrasion resistance, and tear strength while contributing to the overall limiting oxygen index of the compound. The excellent thermal stability of CPE 135A during PVC processing ensures consistent cable jacket quality throughout long extrusion runs, while the low moisture absorption of the modified compound maintains stable electrical properties in humid service environments. Our manufacturing process delivers tightly controlled chlorine content and molecular weight, providing cable compounders with the formulation consistency needed for meeting stringent wire and cable industry specifications and certification requirements.

RUNYE CPE 135A is formulated into PVC compounds for building wire and cable jacketing (THHN, THWN, NM-B), flexible cord and portable cable jackets, automotive primary wire and battery cable insulation, industrial control and instrumentation cable sheathing, mining and trailing cable jackets, marine and offshore cable sheathing, and fiber optic cable outer jackets. It is compatible with all commonly used PVC cable compound ingredients including phthalate and non-phthalate plasticizers, calcium-zinc and lead stabilizers, flame retardant synergists (antimony trioxide, ATH, magnesium hydroxide), fillers (calcium carbonate, calcined clay), carbon black, and color masterbatches. CPE 135A is well suited for use in compounds designed to meet UL, CSA, VDE, IEC, and other national and international cable standards.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceOur CPE 135A is packaged in 25kg woven bags with inner PE liner to prevent moisture absorption during storage and transportation. Bulk packaging options include 500kg jumbo bags and 1000kg palletized loads available upon request. Every production batch is rigorously tested in our in-house laboratory for chlorine content, tensile strength, elongation, thermal stability, and particle size distribution before release. We maintain complete batch traceability records and provide certificates of analysis (COA) with every shipment. Our factory operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, with raw material inspection, in-process control, and final product testing at every stage. Samples are retained for 12 months for quality traceability. We offer free samples for customer evaluation and technical support for formulation optimization to ensure maximum performance in your specific application.
