Product Description
RUNYE CPE 135A automotive grade is a premium chlorinated polyethylene PVC toughening agent specifically engineered to meet the exacting requirements of the automotive industry for interior trim components. This specialized grade delivers exceptional low-temperature impact resistance, critical for automotive interior parts that must survive cold weather conditions without brittle fracture. At temperatures as low as -30°C, PVC formulations modified with CPE 135A maintain high impact strength, ensuring interior trim components such as door panels, instrument panel skins, and pillar covers remain durable and crack-free throughout the vehicle lifetime. The automotive industry increasingly demands low-VOC, low-odor interior materials, and CPE 135A offers significant advantages over liquid plasticizer-based flexibility approaches that can contribute to fogging and interior air quality issues. As a high molecular weight polymeric modifier, CPE 135A is non-volatile and non-migrating, eliminating the plasticizer emissions that cause windshield fogging and contribute to interior odor. The excellent heat aging resistance of CPE 135A modified PVC compounds ensures automotive interior parts maintain their appearance and mechanical properties throughout extended exposure to the elevated temperatures experienced in vehicles parked in direct sunlight. Our automotive-grade manufacturing process includes additional quality control measures to ensure the very low gel content, consistent particle size, and minimal impurities essential for the demanding surface quality requirements of visible automotive interior components.

RUNYE CPE 135A automotive grade is specifically formulated for PVC automotive interior applications including instrument panel skins and coverings, door panel coverings and inserts, center console skins, pillar trim covers, seat back coverings, headliner components, sun visor skins, and interior trim soft-touch surfaces. It is compatible with PVC/ABS and PVC/ASA vacuum formable sheet systems widely used for automotive interior skin production through negative and positive thermoforming processes. The material processes well in calendering and extrusion operations for sheet production and subsequent lamination to polyolefin foam or other substrate materials. CPE 135A modified automotive PVC compounds can be formulated to meet the requirements of major automotive OEM specifications including those from Volkswagen, General Motors, Toyota, Ford, and other global vehicle manufacturers. Our technical service team can provide formulation guidance for meeting specific OEM requirements for heat aging, fogging, odor, flammability, and mechanical performance.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceOur CPE 135A is packaged in 25kg woven bags with inner PE liner to prevent moisture absorption during storage and transportation. Bulk packaging options include 500kg jumbo bags and 1000kg palletized loads available upon request. Every production batch is rigorously tested in our in-house laboratory for chlorine content, tensile strength, elongation, thermal stability, and particle size distribution before release. We maintain complete batch traceability records and provide certificates of analysis (COA) with every shipment. Our factory operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, with raw material inspection, in-process control, and final product testing at every stage. Samples are retained for 12 months for quality traceability. We offer free samples for customer evaluation and technical support for formulation optimization to ensure maximum performance in your specific application.
